Try the wild game nights on Thursday. I love the Venison and duck there. Great!

GOOD FOOD GREAT CLASS
My family was coming in from out of town and I decided to make reservations for THE FIFTH SEASON restaurant. They gave us a private room to ourselves, which was very impressive. The food and the service was really great. Each of us ordered something different, and everyone loved their meal. The prices are in line with all the other restaurants in our valley for such an fancy establishment with a lot of class. Try it!

Food Award of Excellance
They have the best food in the Youngstown area. Their menu is so different than most in the area. My favorite meal is their 5th season tower....by far the best I have had so far. The drinks are very reasonable in price, especcially for the atmosphere. Service is wonderful, my wife and I try to get there a couple times a month.

Good, could be better
The atmosphere at The Fifth Season is wonderful. We sat in a room with only 4 tables. Very romantic. The specials were great and the wine list extensive. Side dishes and presentation could use some work. I suppose you're paying for the atmosphere just as much as the food.

Tops for Special Occasions
Birthday celebration dinner was outstanding; one of the best meals we've had anywhere. The cost makes it prohibitive for frequent dining, but it's now on our very short list of special-occasion favorites.

good eats
Great restaurant tucked away in our little town. Enjoyed the potato encrusted halibut...so moist and tender and the shrimp scampi was luscious and plenty of it. A little pricy to frequent the facility but when $$$$ permit we will be back. Could use more comfortable chairs...to strait and high especially if you are tall.

Anniversary Dinner
My wife and I enjoyed the Fith Season for our anniversary recently. It was great. Although they have a lot of exotic dishes that I was tempted to try I went a head with their signature dish: The Tower.
It was great. Two tender filets and and two very good crab cakes all stacked together.

Excellent Catering
I recently had the Fifth Season's cater an off site shower and they did an excellent job!! Everyone absolutely loved the food and the price was very reasonable. The food is always outstanding when we dine at the restaurant and it was great to see that I received the same quality when it was catered.

I eat at a lot of fine restaurants and this one is at the top of my list. I am from Houston and everytime I am in town I have to stop here. Personally I give it a "10".

Highest Recommendation
My wife and I have been to the Fifth Season a half a dozen times since it opened. The first two trips we had horrendous service, but the food was so outstanding that we kept going back. Since then, we have had great service and the food remains fantastic. We usually go for special occasions because of the cost, but anymore even the underwhelming chain restaurants are getting very pricey. For a few dollars more, you can have a true dining experience right here in Youngstown. My favorite dish is the Chilean sea bass, check it out!

Food at it's best
I have read these reviews and every restaurant has its critics. My husband and I eat there every couple weeks. The menu has a variety of prices, from " the typical to higher than average" Depends on what you are hungry for. Service friendly and professional. They make us feel at home and I guess we are " regulars" Sorry for those who may have been there on an off day....give it another try-during the week is less crowded--most restaurants are busy and caotic if they are worth it. The room with the four tables is cozy, especially on there slower nights!!! They have an extensive wine list and there nightly specials deserve applause. Most restaurants in the area are cookie cutter--they offer alot of food that you just don't find at all other restaurants I have frequented. Be sure to make a reservation and inform them if there is a special occasion! They offer a free dessert, we love the Creme Brule. Enjoy!@!!!

simply the best
Simply outstanding....food, service, atmosphere. Our waiter, Jason was most impressive. We weren't sure what to order and his recommedations were fantasic. You have got to try the calamari, and the Wagyu Kobe melted in my mouth. Truly a great dining experience. I recommend to everyone.

Eat out alot
We ate at the Fifth Season on New years. We had the seafood platter for 2--it was fabulous. We have had seafood all over and could tell it was quality seafood. The waitress told us about the wedge salad and the hearts of palm salad. Yum, wow what a change from a standard salad. We did visist for the holiday but will go back. Our server was great and we really had a pleasant experience. Thanks for the expirience.........Sheri

Food is excellant. Taste for everyone. THe wine list is the best in Youngstown. The seating is cramped but tolerable. Waitress was well versed and attentive to our needs. For those of you who thought this restaurnat was aweful - go back to McDonalds!

came highly recommended, but met pur expectat
At first sight we were not sure that it was going to be an enjoyable experience. The girl that greeted us as we entered was very rude, as were the other girls that were coming in and out of the room. But as we were seated our outlooks changed, the waitress we had was very helpful and courteous. Our entrees were all very good, despite the fact that we were served a cold baked potato, also very happy that we saved room for dessert the creme brulee and apple dumpings were wonderful!

The setting and food are the best in the area. Some of the negatives have to be by owners of other places. I have to eat there when I come back to Austintown two or three times. Better than ugly and concested Boardman eateries.Austinown will support good places to eat!

We have traveled to some very exclusive and top rated restaurants and this one is at the top of our list. The atmosphere may not be "exquisite" but it is very classy and spotless. The food is always outstanding.

Special Occasion
Very nice- went for anniversary- expensive so won\'t go often but will go back- hubby never likes anything anywhere, always says \"it was ok\" - but there, he liked and says he\'d go back even though it was expensive. Probably a special occasion visit only for us.

Best in Area
My wife and I have found our restaurant. Appetizers, dinners, wine, & desserts are second to none. Service is excellent as well. My only minor complaint is that it can get a little loud when the restaurant is full (making it difficult to hear normal dinner conversation). However, it's a small price to pay for such an otherwise perfect experience.

Great Food
Great food. Loud atmosphere. Would have liked for it to be a little quieter. Seemed hard to talk to my wife at the table. It was very busy on a Friday night so we had to wait a little for a waitress. Not bad but expect it.

Romantic
My husband and I had our anniversary dinner in May and ate on the deck. It was a very pretty setting. The food was very good that evening, and the waitress was professional and attentive, considering we were the only guests eating on the deck and she could have easily forgotten us! We will go back.

NY Strip
The best wine list in the area.My husband and I dine there often and an absolute must get is the 16 oz Ny strip steak, ask for it to be charcoal seasoned.You will never taste a better steak anywhere ever.

Great Restaurant, Excellent Catering
The Fifth Season has been my favorite place to eat in the area ever since they opened. Even my mother and her boyfriend who is a chef from an exclusive restaurant in San Francisco, California love the exotic, delightful selection of appetizers, entrees and the wine list. Recently I had a family gathering catered by the Fifth Season and it turned out wonderful! Everyone absolutely loved the food and the prices were very reasonable. Fruit tiered trays, veggie trays, chicken, pasta, meatballs, green beans, roast beef, salad, and rolls for about a person! The roast beef was my favorite, it melted in your mouth! They also came to my house, set everything up, and served the food! Also, the chef was one of the servers! For all those who gave this restaurant a bad review, I just can not see where you are coming from. Maybe you go in there with a bad attitude and give yourself a bad experience because I have been there numerous times and had nothing but good experiences with a variety of dishes or maybe you just don't know what good food is!

I think this is one of the best restuarants ever, not just for the food but for a family owned restuarant it is the best. the owner is in the kitchen nightly cooking along with the workers he employs. care goes out with each and every plate. the taste of the food proves it...love the ginger dressing and the steaks are superb

Cudos to a local restaurant and high quality food, just in there and had no idea of all the "anniversary specials" they had going on--the shrimp cocktail was amazing for only 5.00 and we also partook in the all you can eat crab legs and she just kept them coming.....WOW..service was great and we are going next week for the last AYCE crablegs!

WOW!
Five years and still great! Who ever would have thought that a restaurant in no-man's land could ever attract the crowds like this one does. It does and for good reason. The food, the decor, the wait staff, and the owners have made it what it is. Beautifully presented food served in gorgeous china by a professional wait staff is something many other "hot spots" should try to emulate. This restaurant is one of the best!

You can always find something moderately priced. The servers are not bugging you every 5 minutes. No one is pushing you out the door ... spend some quality time with your date or friends! The food is always yummy. If it looks jammed, there is also a parking lot in the back. Enjoy!
